![]() ![]() I agree that he is a horrible role model! The movie is not only an anti-xenophobia film it is also an anti-bullying movie. ![]() These main characters are likable except Frollo. Plus, there is some good role models especially Esmeralda who is a female strong lead. ![]() Older kids will especially benefit from the message because they can understand the context better and also relate to it. And that's a good message about doing the right thing even if no body else does. Yes, there's a bit of sexual stuff and bullying that is mentioned by others and yes, I actually believe that Frollo is one of the most EVIL Disney villains ever BUT there's also the part during the bullying Quasi by tying him down and throwing food is interrupted by Esmeralda who defends him rather than joining the crowds and hurting him too. The movie takes place in 15th Century (1482) and it is based 1831 book. However it's more of a family movie now really targeting young children nor adults but rather the middle. Just because something is animated doesn't make it a kids movie (South Park and Sausage Party come to mind). I have seen many people on this site complain about it being inappropriate for "a kids movie". It's definitely for older kids so don't let the G rating fool you. ![]() This movie is beautiful and it's a tear-jerker. ![]()
